This 7 layer screen print has been hand finished with 23.5ct gold leaf, each one using roughly 25 sheets and taking 30 minutes to gild
The print has been debossed on a traditional press, using a bespoke magnesium die, this method was used in ornate ephemera back in the Victorian era.
A true dedication to traditional printing and advertising methods of the ‘golden era’ Hugely inspired by Cigar labels and early advertising from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
